The award is given by the International Federation of Journalists and Travel Writers who has decided for the first time to reward three destionations/personalities from the same country: the Danube Delta reservation (southeastern Romania), Marginimea Sibiului (Sibiu county, southern Transylvania), named by Forbes magazine as 'world's most romantic ecotourism destination', and low cost flight company Blue Air, considered to have the most dynamic development in Southeastern Europe.
