Ceausescu and Tito
Romanian and Yugoslav dictators: Ceausescu and Tito in private hunting
The name of Romania's notorious communist dictator Ceausescu has been used lately in the branding of such diverse things as hotel rooms, chocolate, or even condoms. But who is the real owner of this brand?

The surviving relatives of Nicolae Ceausescu are now trying to limit the use of their family name. They claim that 'Ceausescu' is a registered mark with Romania's State Office for Makes and Brands.

In December 2009, a Romanian theatre went into troubles, after it staged a play called 'The last hours of Ceausescu'. The play was, however, staged in Zurich, Bern, and Berlin.

'We just want to stop people exploiting the name,' the dictator's son Valentin Ceausescu told Associated Press.
